Brief Biographical Sketch:
*David Attenborough voice* Here we see the profile page of the "Dannicus primunomina", or "Danny First Names". The Danny is a peculiar creature, existing as a senior within the Institvte who is majoring in physics but somehow finds himself wrapped in assorted programming projects and jobs. The Danny's lifecycle begins within the concrete jungles on New York City, where he was raised with a love of science and an unhealthy dose of Gilbert & Sullivan. Upon maturing into adulthood, the Danny migrated up to the chilly streets of Cambridge, building his four-year nest within the walls of the East Campus dormitory. Through the day, his diet consists of esoteric facts and horrid puns; by night, he forsakes sleep for school work and Internet, as well as writing about himself in the third person. Hello! I'm Danny, as you may have gathered having clicked through to this profile page. I have a habit of falling into assorted adventures and emerging with a story on the other side. I'm also quite interested in the history around the places I live, which is probably how I ended up as East Campus Historian. I'm constantly trying to learn new things (and excitedly spreading that knowledge to friends, enemies, and strangers in elevators) so don't hesitate to ask any questions. :D Past Classes(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)X8873: Underwater Basket Weaving in Splash 2014 (Nov. 22 - 23, 2014)
We understand that your time at Splash is finite and valuable, which is why we're offering a class in an important life skill.
Welcome to underwater basket weaving.
For years, the sacred craft of underwater basket weaving has been ridiculed by admissions offices across the nation as the de facto example of a worthless educational pursuit. Our mission is to break this stigma and expose the rich world behind this craft.
We're also really amused by the concept of *actually* doing underwater basket weaving, so here we are.
For more information on this ancient craft, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underwater_basket_weaving

Come on, I know you have one. Maybe it’s the TI-84+ instead, maybe it’s the Silver Edition™—I don’t care. Their plastic casings and ridiculous prices oh-so-carefully conceal a more powerful number cruncher than you ever originally thought.
In this class you will learn how to:
- churn through repetitive equations with blistering speed
- save buttloads of time (an accepted SI unit of time) on the Math SATs
- store useful data sets on your calculator long-term
- intro TI-BASIC programming to automate your calculations further
