Brief Biographical Sketch:
Patricia is an MIT Graduate student in the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science. She is currently studying the mixing between rivers and oceans (estuaries), using a numerical model of the Hudson river. She has a B.S. in physics from the University of Notre Dame. She has participated in three research cruises: She has also engaged in laboratory studies of: And she is looking forward to sharing her fascination with the ocean and developing some experience teaching through the SPARK program.
