Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi!! My name is Katie, and I come from the Newburgj, NY. Newburgh is situated in the Hudson Valley where there are many pretty hiking trails and an even prettier Hudson River. So, maybe it is not so hard to believe I have come to really enjoy being outdoors in some shape or form (I like biking, talking walks by the Charles River, and hiking especially!!).

At MIT, I am involved in student advocacy groups as well as an educational outreach program called dynaMIT. Pre-pandemic, I danced in MIT's Dance Troupe, and I enjoyed rock climbing. Mid-pandemic, my hobbies consist of philosophy (all kinds are interesting, but I know the most about moral) and getting expensive coffee to drink while I stare at the Charles.
