Brief Biographical Sketch:
Hi! I'm in my senior year at MIT, where I double major in Physics and in Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science (EAPS). I like studying things I can poke, which mostly means earth science, with a lot of extra physics and dynamics thrown in more or less because equations are fun. I think it's awesome to be part of a department which does interesting fieldwork in amazing places (for me so far, that's the upstate New York, the Mojave Desert, and the western Himalayas). I spend a lot of my free time cooking with my living group, La Maison Francaise. When I get the chance, I spend my weekends out hiking in the White Mountains, and after three years in Boston I've even learned to love the snow.
