Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a graduate student in the MIT-Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program, which means I spend a lot of time commuting between MIT and Woods Hole (out on Cape Cod), and also that I get to spend a lot of time out on boats! I'm studying biogeochemical cycles, looking at how biology, geology and chemistry all interact on a large scale to define how things like climate and the carbon cycle work on Earth. I love exploring outdoors and finding new and exciting things to learn from nature.
